Under the helpless gaze of a mourning sky, the glacier fades away, consumed by the implacable embrace of time. Its body, once imposing and majestic, disintegrates into tortured arabesques, bloated and erratic, like a being prey to inexorable agony. The icy waters of its melt flow in desperate cascades, tracing furrows in the bare rock like open veins, silent witnesses to a giant bleeding to death.
The rock, raw and scorched by the age-old contact of this dying mass, is now exposed like a gaping wound, where every trickle whispers the fateful song of a world out of balance. The horizon is wrapped in a sheet of dark clouds, heavy as a shroud ready to cover the remains of a fallen colossus.
The glacier, a spectre of itself, offers a final resistance in a deformed, almost grotesque posture, evoking a losing battle against a disease gnawing at its white soul. And the sky, frozen in its silence, becomes an accomplice in this visual requiem, where the ephemeral triumphs over the perennial in a symphony of icy desolation.
